General Information About Upgrades
Dear music lovers,
You've spent time and money to select and acquire your sound system. But then, over the years, you realize that its performance is not what they were originally. Like all audiophiles you care about your sound system and want to enjoy it as long as possible and protect your investment.
The availability of aurally and electrically superior parts and updates suggested by the manufacturers, are excellent reasons to consider an update of your sound system.
If you have a defective component in your audio system, you can be assured that our accumulated experience for more than 35 years will be available to resolve the issue or issues in an effective and sustainable manner.
A few words about upgrades
All audio equipment being originally designed by some compromises to keep its price at a competitive level while keeping its performance in the target margin of the designer, the upgrades we propose are precisely to overcome the compromises that have been made originally.
In this sense, when designing upgrades for each candidate unit, we take great care to keep intact its sound character while maximizing its performance. Essentially, we make improvements to enhance the qualities of the original design by eliminating the compromises that were made during production.
The components we use for upgrades are carefully chosen and are superior to the original ones in terms of musicality, electrical performance and long term durability.
A few words of caution: there is upgrade and... upgrade
Unfortunate cases are regularly reported to us where audio units were modified in the hands of electronics adventurists that pose as experts. The sound character of these "upgraded" units had become completely disfigured and unbearable.
Be selective in your choice of service provider when you want to upgrade your audio equipment. Upgrades require a much deeper intervention in your audio equipment than in the case of a repair. Each equipment is different and requires a different intervention. A poorly designed and/or poorly performed upgrade destroys the qualities of a product. Returning to its original state is costly and sometimes impossible.
